22 Aug 2017, 12:30pm
We have received news from the Hong Kong Observatory that tropical storm Hato will hit Hong Kong tomorrow morning. As such, Typhoon Signal No. 8 will be raised, which means schools and offices will all be closed.
Therefore, we have to do some last-minute rescheduling, as follows:
--- The keynote by Professor Beril Toktay will be moved from tomorrow Wednesday morning to this Tuesday afternoon, starting at 3:50pm.
--- The parallel sessions originally scheduled for this Tuesday afternoon will be put on hold until further notice.
--- If the weather condition improves enough by tomorrow Wednesday afternoon, we will have the last keynote by Professor Tang and the remaining parallel sessions.
We are sorry for the last minute rescheduling but we plead for your understanding in this unforeseeable natural condition.
